SpaceX has received a license to operate its Starlink satellite internet service in Panama, the first country in Central America to do so.

The license was granted by the Panamanian telecommunications regulator, the Autoridad Nacional de los Servicios Públicos (ASEP), and will allow SpaceX to begin providing service to customers in the country.

The license was granted to SpaceX’s Starlink Panama subsidiary, which was incorporated in Panama in last year.

The license is the latest in a series of regulatory approvals that SpaceX has received for its Starlink service. The company has also received approval to operate in 40+ more countries, in all seven continents.

The approval in Panama is significant because it is the first country in Central America to approve SpaceX’s Starlink service. The company has been working to expand its service to other countries in the caribbean and Central America, including the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica.

This is one more step in SpaceX’s efforts to expand its Starlink service to more countries around the world and one day wants to provide service to every country on Earth.

What do you think about SpaceX’s Starlink service? Have you tried it? Let us know in the comments below.
