SpaceX is set to launch 40 OneWeb satellites on a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida on December 6th. This will be the first of six planned launches for OneWeb, with each launch carrying around 40 satellites. The satellites will be used to provide global internet coverage from low Earth orbit.
The launch is scheduled to take place no earlier than 17:37 local time from Merritt Island, Florida. The Falcon 9 rocket will be carrying the satellites to an altitude of around 1,200 km.
