Now also serving Finland, in addition to expanding coverage across all of Sweden and Norway → https://t.co/slZbTmYOKV
The service was previously available in few areas of Norway and none in Finland. This coincides with the availability of the service in all of Canada and Alaska announced earlier today. This shows that the service is expanding rapidly in the northen hemisphere, where the it is extremely hard to get any type of internet service.
A recent comment from a US military official shows that the service is also being tested by the US military in antarctica and the arctic where there are very few options for internet service and the ones which are available are very expensive and very slow in connection speeds with high ping. Starlink is expected to be a game changer in the arctic and antarctica where it will provide high speed internet service to the military, scientific research stations and the general public.
