A Twitter user glideoutside has shared a sneak peek at what seems to be the cast of the exoskeleton of the highly anticipated Cybertruck at Tesla’s Giga Austin factory. The photos show the casting molds for the exoskeleton, which will form the exterior of the all-electric pickup truck.

The Cybertruck, unveiled by Tesla CEO Elon Musk in November 2019, has garnered significant attention for its futuristic, angular design and impressive specifications. The truck is made of stainless steel and is designed to be both durable and sleek.

According to Tesla, the Cybertruck will have a range of up to 500 miles on a single charge and will be able to tow up to 14,000 pounds. It will also come equipped with various advanced features, such as adaptive air suspension and self-leveling suspension.

The Twitter user who shared the photos of the casting process said that the exoskeleton looked “awesome” and “massive” in person. The photos have generated excitement among Tesla fans and the wider automotive community.

It is not yet clear when the Cybertruck will be available for purchase, but Tesla has said that production is on track to begin in second half of 2023. The company has already received over 1M pre-orders for the vehicle according to a 3rd party tracker.

The Cybertruck is just one of the many innovative electric vehicles that Tesla is currently developing. The company is also working on a dedicated robo taxi, which will be the next major product to be released by the company.
