Tesla has announced that its GigaTexas factory has reached a production rate of 3,000 Model Y vehicles per week, bringing the total production rate for all of its factories to 144,000 vehicles per week. This includes its factories in China, Fremont, Berlin, and Nevada. The company’s Gigaberlin factory also expected to reach this milestone in a few months, indicating that the ramp up of production at these two new facilities is going well.
Overall, this puts Tesla’s total vehicle production rate at close to 1.8 million per year. The Model Y, a compact electric SUV, has been a popular choice for consumers and has helped drive the company’s growth.

In addition to the Model Y, Tesla also produces the Model S, Model 3, and Model X at its various factories around the world. The company has made a name for itself in the electric vehicle market and has disrupted traditional automakers with its innovative designs and technology.
The increase in production at GigaTexas and Gigaberlin is a positive sign for the company, as it continues to expand and meet the growing demand for electric vehicles. It also shows that the company’s efforts to streamline its production processes are paying off, allowing it to increase output while maintaining high levels of quality.
Both GigaTexas and Gigaberlin are using big casting machines to produce the Model Y. These machines weights 6000 tons each are capable of producing up to 1,000 castings per day, which is a significant increase over the 300 castings per day that were produced at the Fremont factory.
GigaTexas will also use the new 9000 tons casting machine, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year in their CyberTruck production, with the initial castings spotted a few weeks ago. Along with CyberTruck, GigaTexas will also produce the #Semi truck.
The increase in production at these two factories is a welcome development for Tesla and its customers, as it indicates that the company is well positioned to meet the demand for its electric vehicles.

Update/Fix: The original post had claim that GigaBerlin also reached the milestone, but it was just GigaTexas. The post has been updated to reflect this.
