Tesla Germany is offering car pickups at their factory in Berlin as part of their year end delivery numbers push. This move allows customers to collect their Tesla vehicle directly from the factory, but it is not likely that they will be given the opportunity to see the manufacturing process and meet the team behind their car.
The offer is open to customers who have ordered their Tesla vehicle and are eligible for delivery before the end of the year. Tesla Germany is hoping that this initiative will help them reach their target delivery numbers and end the year on a high.
This is not the first time that Tesla has offered car pickups at their factories. In the past, they have allowed customers to collect their cars from their facilities in California and Shanghai. Tesla Fremont factory still offers to pick it up at their factory. The Berlin factory is their first in Europe and has been open for just over couple of months.
The vehicle will have at least 50% charge which will be more than enough to drive to the next nearest supercharger.
For people who are coming to the without their own vehicle, Tesla is offering a free shuttle from the train station “Erkner”, which has a shuttle for every 30 minutes.
Overall, Tesla Germany’s offer of car pickups at their Berlin factory is a unique and exciting opportunity for customers. It allows them to collect their new vehicle directly from the source and learn more about the company and its products.
