In November 2022, the Tesla Model Y dethroned the Volkswagen Golf as the best-selling car in Europe. According to sales data, Tesla sold a total of 19,144 units of the premium midsize SUV, a significant increase of over 260% compared to the same month the previous year. The Dacia Sandero came in at a close second place with 18,746 units sold, while the Toyota Yaris rounded out the top three with 17,309 units sold.
