Tesla has released its big holiday update for its non-FSD cars. The update includes a number of new features, such as the ability to stream Apple Music through the car’s entertainment system, and the ability to view the cabin of the car through the mobile app.

Both Apple music and remote live cabin view were spotted a couple of weeks ago via code updates and the Tesla app store. The update is now rolling out to all Tesla cars, and is expected to be available for all cars by the end of the year.

One of the most notable features of the update is the ability to schedule light shows with the car’s lights. This allows users to create custom light displays, which can be synced to music or other audio.

The update will also be rolling out to FSD cars once Tesla has ironed out some fixes. FSD, or Full Self-Driving, is Tesla’s autonomous driving technology, which is currently in development and in beta for more than 100k car in North america.

Tesla added MyQ garage door opener support to the vehicle app store, which allows users to open and close their garage doors from the car. The feature is currently only available for cars and Tesla phone apps with latest software versions, but Tesla is expected to add support for other cars in the coming months.

Tesla also made Track pack available for Model Y performance cars. The Track pack is a $5k option that adds a number of performance upgrades, including a new suspension, aero upgrades, and increased power.

Overall, the update is seen as a major step forward for Tesla, and is expected to improve the driving experience for many of the company’s customers. It is unclear when the update will be available for all Tesla cars, but it is likely to roll out gradually in the coming weeks.

Here are the list of main updates spotted so far:

  • Apple Music streaming
  • Remote live cabin view
  • Schedule light shows
  • MyQ garage door opener support
  • Auto switch off signal lights
  • Search for contacts Tesla cars when connected via Bluetooth
