Tesla will finally starts its services and sales officially in Thailand. The announcement was made by Tesla account in LinkedIn. Tesla recently added support for thai language in its eco system with the software update 2022.44. Tesla also posted some job openings a few months ago for the country and conducted a few interviews with a recruitment day. The postings included a few positions for the service center and a few for the sales team.

Tesla also made their official Link account recently and the announcement lines up the Thai Motor Expo 2022 which is scheduled to take place from 2nd to 12th December 2022. The event will be held at the IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 in Bangkok, Thailand. Tesla is expected to showcase its products at the event.

Although, tesla was not officially selling products in the country, there are some Tesla in the country which were likely imported from other countries, most probably from china, since they have Zero import tax for cars from china. Tesla Model 3 was the most popular model in the country in 2021, which was the second best selling Electric car in the country.
