A design sketch for a two-door version of Tesla’s Cybertruck has been spotted at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. The sketch, which was shared on Twitter by Tesla enthusiasts, provides a glimpse of a potential new variant of the controversial electric pickup truck.

The Cybertruck, which was unveiled by Tesla CEO Elon Musk in November 2019, has generated significant buzz among fans of the electric car manufacturer. The vehicle’s distinctive angular design and futuristic features have garnered both praise and criticism from the automotive community.

The two-door design sketch offers a new perspective on the Cybertruck, with a more compact and sporty appearance. The sketch, which was shared on Twitter by several news articles by EV related websites, shows the vehicle with two doors and a shorter bed, with the same angular styling as the original Cybertruck.

Elon musk did say that they might do a smaller version of the cybertruck for the markets outside of the US when he was talking to Jay Leno on his show. As elon said, this could be a long way down the road as Tesla yet to start production of the Cybertruck and ramp the production up to at least 200k units per year to cover the more than a million pre orders it racked up.

It is not yet clear if the two-door Cybertruck will be developed or offered as a production model. Tesla has not commented on the sketch, and it remains to be seen if the company will consider adding a two-door variant to its lineup.

Overall, the two-door Cybertruck design sketch offers a new look at the potential future of Tesla’s electric pickup truck. The sketch has generated excitement among fans of the company and has sparked speculation about the possibility of a new variant of the Cybertruck.
