Elon musk in a recent tweet reply said that the removal of Former President Donald Trump from the social media platform Twitter was wrong, stating that the president did not violate the twitters terms of service or any law. Elon also said that the removal of Trump from Twitter was a mistake and that the company should have taken a different approach.
I’m fine with Trump not tweeting. The important thing is that Twitter correct a grave mistake in banning his account, despite no violation of the law or terms of service.

Deplatforming a sitting President undermined public trust in Twitter for half of America.
The former president was de-platformed from all major social media platforms after the incitement of Capital Hill on 6th january 2021. Along with Twitter, facebook and instagram also suspended the former president’s accounts permanently. The suspension of the former president’s account was criticized by many people from the Republic Party in the USA and free speech enthusiasts in general.
Elon reinstated the former president account recently after a poll was conducted on twitter asking the users if they want the former president to be reinstated. Even though the account is back, the former president did not tweet or use the account since then.
