Twitter has introduced a new feature that allows users to display a company logo next to their name when they tweet. The feature is currently being rolled out to a small group of users, but it is expected to be available to all users in the coming weeks.
To use the feature, users must work for the company and the company must initiate the verification process. Once verified, the company logo will appear next to the user’s name on all of their tweets. This feature is designed to help users easily identify when a tweet is being sent by an employee of a specific company.
This is not the first time that Twitter has introduced a feature to help users identify the source of a tweet. The platform previously introduced the blue check mark, which is used to verify the authenticity of a user’s account. However, the new company logo feature takes this a step further by allowing users to easily identify the company that an employee works for.
For the new feature to work, the company must initiate the verification process. Once verified, the company logo will appear next to the user’s name on all of their tweets and on their profile.
It’s not clear if the the user has be to be verified via the new Twitter Blue subscription service to receive the logo but it is likely that the feature will be only available to Twitter blue users.
Overall, this new feature is a useful addition for users who want to easily identify the source of a tweet. It should also help companies to better promote their brand and engage with their employees on Twitter.
