Twitter interfered in the 2020 election, according to Elon Musk. Elon said that Twitter interfered in the 2020 election by censoring some content or/and promoting certain content.
Exactly. The obvious reality, as long-time users know, is that Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections.
Twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent and even-handed.
Elon was responding to an article by Reuters that said “Twitter is not safe with Elon Musk as CEO” and said that twitter has failed in trust and safety of it’s users. The remarks was made by former twitter trust and safety head at twitter.
Elon said Twitter 2.0 will be better and that they will be more effective and careful with the content moderation and more even-handed. This is in line with the absolute “free speech” policy that elon wants twitter to follow after his acquisition of the company.
He also said he will release all the files that are related to the policy and the content moderation which clamped down on free speech on Twitter for the past couple of years calling it Twitter Files. He will be releasing the files on twitter itself.
The Twitter Files on free speech suppression soon to be published on Twitter itself. The public deserves to know what really happened …
